The Galapagos Reserve, San Cristobal, island of the Galapagos Archipelago in 2003. Since its inception, the station field house and a significant nursery and green house operation have been constructed. Volunteers have begun reforestation work with National Park employees, replacing exotic invasive plants with native species.
Plans include the construction of a native plant corridor from the dry forest portion of the reserve below to the moist forest above. The greenhouse operation will be used to develop organic production processes for fruits and vegetables that are on the approved growing list.

• Reforestation for a 15 has corridor with native species of San Cristóbal (Jatun Sacha,
Selligmann Foundation)
• Four hectare reforested near cabins
• Nursery and Breeding ground implementation
• Exotic plant species eradication.
• Environmental programs and natural resource management.
• Botanical Garden.
• Organic agriculture development for local consumption.
• Technical assistantship and collaboration with Galapagos National Park.
• Reforestation activities with the participation of local people and several NGO’s.
