La Hesperia Biological Station and Reserve is located in the western range of the Andes at an altitude of 1100-2040 meters. The 814 hectares reserve is part of two important bioregions: The Tropical Andes and the Choco Darien Western Ecuador. [more]

The Bilsa Biological Station and Reserve  is located within a larger conservation area, The Mache Chindul Ecological Reserve that encompasses 120,000 hectares. The Jatun Sacha Biological Station  and Reserve is located in the Amazon Basin of Ecuador. Funded in 1985, this reserve set the standard for conservation through a private reserve system in Ecuador. [more]
