Great Wilderness Volunteer Program is designed to offer its volunteers the following:

• Provide up to date and accurate information about our conservation programs.

• A thorough description of the most common activities you will encounter as a volunteer.

• Receive complementarily information about tropical reforestation programs as well as a  description of the tropical hardwood species used at our reforestation projects.

There is an application fee of $240 USD per person, which covers your application process and guarantees your spot at one of our conservation projects.

Also, a room and board fee is required which is commonly $600 per month (depending on the reserve). This fee helps pay 14% for administration costs, 22% for reserve salaries, 22% for reserve projects, and 42% for food and shelter.  The Galapagos Reserve is slightly higher at $740 per month plus a per visit government visitor fee of $100.
